Requirements
No sewing experience needed, only some basic sewing tools are
sewing machine, needles (hand and machine), scissors, pins, marking pencil or chalk, iron and ironing board
Material list is provided for fabrics and other notions needed to complete the project

Welcome to the Primadonna Half-Scale Dressmaking class!My name is Britney, designer for Threadora Gowns. I create half-scale evening gown patterns and teach you modern and couture dressmaking skills in half the time and half the material cost.Designing and sewing a garment in half-scale first gives you great practice and it's very freeing when you lose the pressure to please a client or stress about perfecting the fit. You allow yourself to focus on perfecting your skill, instead. As a solo fledgling designer, I found creating mock-ups very time-consuming and costly so I wanted to create dressmaking courses that solve that very problem.In this dressmaking course, you will learn and practice traditional sewing techniques using the method of half-scale construction! The smaller size will be easier to handle, use less material and take less time.
