Materials

Fingering yarn
Size 2 needles
3 holders
6 - 1mm beads for buttons
Yarn needle

NOTE: Neck Band is crocheted as below or you can work 3 rows of 1x1 ribbing before starting Yoke. Button Bands are crocheted as below or you can add 3 or 4 sts at each end of yoke for knit button bands
This pattern is worked from the neck down and requires very little sewing.
It is ready for you to add stripes, patterns, cables, etc.

Yoke
CO 26sts
Slip first stitch of each row
R1...k4, pm, k5, pm, k8, pm, k5, pm, k4
R2...p
R3...k to first st before marker, inc, sl marker, inc, (k to next st before marker, inc, sl marker,
inc) 3 times, k to end
R4...p
Repeat rows 3 and 4 until you have 10, 17, 20, 17, 10 stitches between markers, end with a purl row

Sleeves
Place 10 sts on holder, co2sts, k17, co2sts, place remaining sts
on holder, turn
R 1-7...St st for 7 rows
R 8...knit, decreasing at each side of sleeve 19sts
R 9-12...St st for 7 rows
R 13...knit, decreasing at each side of sleeve 17sts
R14 -17...St st for 7 rows
R 15... knit, decreasing at each side of sleeve 15sts
R 16...P
Work 1x1 rib for 5 rows
Bind off keeping in pattern

Second sleeve
Transfer back sts to 2nd holder, slip 17 sts of next sleeve to knitting
needles, leave last 10 sts on holder,
Co2, k17, co2
Works as for first sleeve from R1 - bind off

Body
Knit 10 from first holder, co 3, k20 of back, co 3, k10 of 2nd front 46sts
St st for 2 inches
1x1 rib for 5 rows
Bind off keeping in pattern

Button Bands
With right side facing you
Left band…sc 28 , ch 1, turn , for 3 rows

Right band
R1...sc 28, ch 1, turn
R2...Sc 1, (ch 2, sk 2, sc 4)4 times, ch 2, sk 2, sc 1, ch 1, turn
R3...Sc in each sc, 2 scs in each sk 2

Neck band
With right side facing you
R1...sc 28,
R2...Sc across, decreasing evenly 4 times
R3...Sc across, decreasing evenly 2 times

Finishing
Sew sleeve seams and buttons.
