HALTER

Row 1: Starting at neck, using Gold/Gold thread, ch 21,
sc in 2nd ch from hook. sc in each ch across, ch 1, turn.
(20 sc)

Rows 2 - 4: Sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn. (20 sc)

Row 5: Sc in each sc across, fasten off.

Row 6: Attach Gold/Gold thread with sc in 6th sc, sc in next
4 sc, ch 1, turn. (5 sc)

Row 7: Sc in first 4 sc, 2 sc in last sc, ch 1, turn. (6 sc)

Row 8: Sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn. (6 sc)

FINISHING

Sew Red 5mm sequins over rounds 23 - 25 of skirt.
(you will get two rows of sequins.)
Sew Red 5mm sequins over Row 6 of waistband.
Sew one small snap at waist to close.
Sew one small snap at neck to close.


HOW TO SEW ON SEQUINS TO HIDE THE THREADS

Starting from the back side of the piece you are attaching
the sequins to, bring your needle and thread up to the
front of the piece.

String a sequins on and slide it down snug to the piece,
then holding the sequin in place with a thumbnail, bring
your needle down at the outer edge of the sequin towards
the back side and right back up to the top, catching just
enough material to hold the thread in place.

Wrap the needle back under the stitch just made, draw
the thread through bringing it to the edge of the sequin.

String the next sequin onto the needle, slide it down
snug against the material, hold it firmly in place with a
thumbnail, bring your needle down at the outer edge of the
sequin towards the back side and right back up to the top,
catching just enough material to hold the thread in place.

Repeat adding sequins in the matter until you get abck to
the begining. This is where it gets a little tricky, you add
the last sequin in the same manner, except take the needle
through to the backside, tie a knot and secure the thread.

Then using your nails, lift the first sequin over the thread of
the last sequin to hide its thread.

Lift the first sequin up over the last to hide the thread.
