TRIM ACROSS THE TOP AND DOWN THE FRONT OF BODICE using the embordery thread.
LEFT SIDE TRIM
ROW 1: Ch 21, hdc in the forth ch from the hook, hdc in the next 17 sts, ch1 DO NOT TURN, place 1sc in the side of the last hdc, sc in side of the foundation st, ch1, pin piece to the bodice matching beg sts at center back, hdc through both thicknesses of the foundation ch and the front of the bodice, hdc in each foundation ch and front lp of matching bodice lp across 20 sts, working through both thicknesses, place 1sc in the ch2, ch2, turn. (20hdc).
ROW 2: Hdc in each st all across the row, finish off. (20hdc).

RIGHT SIDE TRIM
ROW 1: Ch 41, hdc in the fourth ch from hook and each ch all across the row, ch1, DO NOT TURN, place 1sc in the side of last hdc, sc in the side of the foundation st, ch2, hdc in the next 15 free lps of the foundation ch, 2hdc in the next 3 sts, 2hdc in the next 2sts working through both thicknesses, {bodice and trim}, hdc in the remaining st same as for the left side. Finish off. Pin piece to bodice having the bottom meet the 18th, 10th, 20th, and 21st stitches of the first row. Using needle and sewing thread, tack trim down the front of the bodice as in the picture.

SKIRT Hold Holding bodice upside down and right side facing you, attach American Beauty thread in the beg free lp of the foundation ch of the bodice with a sc,

ROW 1: Attach thread at the bottom of the left back opening with the right side of the dress facing you, with a sc, sc up the left back opening placing 26 sc as evenly as possible, to where the baby pink starts, do not sc in any baby pink sts. ch1, turn. (26sc).
ROW 2: Sc back down edge, ch1, turn. (26sc)
ROW 3: Sc back up the edge, finish off. (26sc).
Right side of back opening.. holding the right side of dress facing you...
Attach thread at the top of the first row of the dark color of dress, at the right top center back opening, with a sc, place 24 more sc down this side as evenly spaced as possible, ch1, turn. (25 sc).
ROW 2: Sc back up the right edge, finish off. (25sc) using needle and matching thread, sew snaps on these two plackets just made.


FOR SHAWL using a sheer fabric to match the color of the dress...
String a small packet of Dark Pink Rochell glass beads on you crochet thread and
Cut a rectangle piece of fabric 5 x 11 " long, using a size 9 hook, and the beaded thread,
sc all around this piece pulling up a bead in each st.
Place over dolls arms as in picture.
