1 ball Knit-Cor-Sheen Crystal Blue used for model
Small amt. of darker blue size 10 crochet cotton for trim
1/2 yd sheer blue fabric for overskirt.
White Glue
Poly Flake or semilar sparkle (very tiny flakes)
Needle and sewing thread to match
size 07 Boye steel crochet hook or hook to match guage

BODICE
ROW 1:Ch26, sc in second ch from hook and all across the row, ch1, turn. (25sc).
ROW 2: sk first st, (sc, ch2, sc in the next st) all across row., sc in the last st, ch1, turn. (12ch2 sp groups, 1sc).
ROW 3: Sc in first ch2 sp, ch2, sc in the same sp, (sk to next ch2 sp,sc, ch2, sc in the same sp) all across the row, sc in the last st, ch1. turn. (12 ch2 sps groups, 1sc).
ROW 4: Repete row 3.
ROW 5: Repeat instructions in row 3 for (6) patterns, {inc started} sc in the next sc {last sc of previous rows group} ch2,sc in the next sc, (first sc of the previous rows group), {increase made}. Make a )sc, ch2, sc) in the next ch2 sp across the row for 6 times, sc in the last st, ch1, turn. (13 ch2 sp groups, 1sc).

BACK AND NECK EDGING
Attach dark blur thread at left center back lower edge, right side facing you, sc up back, around neck, and down right back edge, end off. Work a row od sc around each arnhole. end off.
TO MAKE SKIRT
ROW 1: Attach light blue thread in the first free lp of foundation ch, holding bodice upside down, right side facing you, with a sl st. Ch1, sc in same sp as sl st, sc in the next 6 lps, (2sc in the next st, 1sc in the next st) 2 times, 1sc in the next 5 sts, repeat between ( ) one time. Sc in the next 6 sts, putting 2 sc in the last st for inc, ch1, turn. (32sc).
ROW 2: 2sc in turning st, sc in the next 7 sts, (2sc in the next st, 1sc in the next st) 3 times. Sc in the next 5 sts, repeat between ( ) one time. Sc in the next 7 sts, 2 sc in the last st, ch2, turn. (39sc).
ROW 3: 2dc in turning st, 1dc in the next 3 sts, (2dc in the next st, 1dc in the next st) 4 times. 1dc in the next 6 sts, repeat between ( ) onr time. 1dc in the next 3 sts, 3dc in the last st, ch2, turn. (52dc).
ROW 4-5: 1dc in each st all across, ch2, turn. (52dc).
ROW 6: Repeat row 5, except sl st to beg ch2 to join center backs. You will now be working in rnds., ch2, turn.
RND 7: 1dc in each st all around, ch2, turn. (52dc).
RND 8-?: Repeat rnd 7, always remembering to ch2, turn at end of each rnd, until skirt measures 4" from waist. End off.
FLOUNCE OVERSKIRT
You will need 2 10x10" pieces of sheer fabric, fold each one in half, at center of fold pinch and cut about 1/2" tip off. Make a very narrow roll hem, blind st. (corners of fabric will drape as in photograph) Put the two squares tog with corners so as to creat 8 corners, (4 corners each square).. (as in photo). Pin the two squares tog so the won't slip, cut about a 1/2" slit through both pieces for back opening, turn under raw edges of slit and around the waist opening, and hem. Be sure to keep both squares pinned tog so that the hem will be facing the same way, wrong side in.
Run a gathering thread around top of waist opening, place skirt on doll over the dress and pull gathers to fit waist.
OVERSKIRT PELUM CINCHER made with light blue thread
ROW 1: Ch 37, sc in second ch from hook and all across row, ch1, turn. (36sc).
ROW 2: Sc in each st all across row, ch1, turn. (36sc).
To Make Points Of Skirt
Divide waist band into thirds, the top of each of the points should be 4 sts wide where it attaches to the band.
FIRST POINT
ROW 1: Sl st in the next two sts, sc in the third st, work 4-ch2lp pattern sts of (sc, ch2, sc in the same st) 4 times. Sc in the seventh st, ch1, turn. (4-ch2 sps.).
ROW 2: Sc into the first ch2 sp, work a ch2 sp st in this ch2 sp, (sl one sc, work ch2 pattern st in the next ch 2 sp) 3 times. Sc in the next sl st, ch1, turn. (4-ch2 sp sts).
ROW 3: Repete row 2, ch1,turn. (4-ch2 sp sts).
ROW 4: (Sl st into the next ch2 sp, sc in the next sc, ch2, sc in the same st) 3 times, ch1, turn. ( 3 slst, 2- ch2 sts).
ROW 5:( Sl st into the next ch2 sp, sc in the next sc, ch2, sc in the same st) 2 times, ch1, turn. (3 sl st, 2 ch2 sp sts).
ROW 6:Sl st into the next ch2 sp, ( sc in the next sc, ch2, sc in the same st) 1 time, sl st in the last ch2 spst, sc in the last st, ch1, turn. ( 2sl st, 2sc, 1 ch2 sp st)>
ROW 7: Work 1-ch2 sp st in the last ch2 sp, sc in the last st, ch1, turn. (1-ch2spst, 1 sc).
ROW 8: Repeat row 7.
ROW 9: Sl st into ch2 sp st, sl st in the last sc, this row is worked on the wrong side of the point, end off.
SECOND POINT
ROW 1: Holding the wrong side of pelum toward you with the 1st point upward, attach thread in the next sc on row 2 of overwaist, with a sc, Work 4-ch2 sp sts, sc in the next sc, ch1, turn. ((4-ch2 sp sts, 1 sc).
ROW 2-9: Work as for first point, end off.
THIRD POINT
Work the same as point #2. End off.
FORTH POINT
Work the same as point # 2. Enf off.
Using dark blue thread, attach in first free lp of foundation row of overwaist, holding piece with the right side facing you, and points downward, with a sl st.
ROW 1: Ch1, sc in the same st a joining, sc in each lp across, sc down the side of the first point evenly spacing sts to the last ch2 loop sp {at point of point}, (about 14 sc), 3sc in the lp st. Working up side of point evenly spacing sc (about 13sc), 1sc in sp between base of points, continue working across remaining points back to beg st. Put 1 sc in the beg st. Join with a sl st in beg st. End off.
ROW 2: Attach light blue thread, ch2, sc in joining st, sc in the bacl lps only of each sc all around points as before, putting 2 sc in all corner sts, and 3sc in the middle st at point of points. End off lt blue.
ROW 3: Attach dark blue again. sc across top of piece, end off. Do not put 2sc in the last st.
STRING ABOUT 200 BEADS ON QUILTING THREAD TO MATCH DARK BLUE to be used on row 4.
ROW 4: Turn pelum piece over and working from wrong side, attach quilting thread and crochet beads all around pelum piece, working down points and up points, skipping the sps inbetween points, and putting only 1 bead in all other sc around to beg of previous row {row 3} End off.
Sew snaps on back of dress and back of pelum, and over skirt.
Usign white craft glue, run a bead and smear it with a toothpick, or finger..around the light blue row, being sure to cover it well. Sprinkle with the Poly-flakes or other glitter to suit. allow to dry, Place dress on doll. I took a pair of doll hells and spread glue on them and sprinkled the glitter on them to go with the outfit. Make or purchace jewerly to suit.
